After 4 months, you will receive 250 talk minutes, and unlimited free texts each month. Lifeline, a government benefit agency, provides discount services to low-income families. If you qualify, you will receive 250 talk and texts every month.
When you go beyond the 250-month minutes, you can purchase airtime and text time, as low as $5 per month. Assurance also has inexpensive unlimited and pay-as-you-go plans. How to Qualify

You will need to provide proof of your financial status with, recent payroll stubs, letter from social services, or w-2 statement. If approved, they notify you by email or regular mail.
