How to Apply for a Phone

To apply for a phone, go to the website of the provider you choose.  Please compare phone plans to find the one that best meets your needs.  At the time you submit your application, you may be asked to submit proof of you financial situation. You need documents like:

  •  Letter from Department of Social Services or SNAPS, Veteran’s Administration, Social Security Benefits.
  • A current Federal Tax Return
  • Unemployment/Workman’s Compensation letter
  • Payroll statements or current check stubs from your job
