Assist Wireless Lifeline Phones

Assistant Wireless, is a discount cell phone provider serving Arkansas, Maryland, and Oklahoma.  Assist Wireless is a smaller Lifeline provider with plans to expand their services to nine more states in the coming year.  Though they do not offer free phone service, the charge is only $1.00, and activation fees.

They are offering to subsidize phone service for disadvantages subscribers through Lifeline a federal assistance program.   Assist Wireless will be adding, California, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Texas, to their service area. 

How to Qualify

You can receive a phone if you are receiving help from assistance programs, such as Section 8 housing or SNAP/Food Stamps.

You are also eligible if:

1.   You fall within or below federal poverty standards
2.   No one else in your home has a Lifeline phone
3.   You live in a state where Lifeline Assistance is offered

To apply, go to the website, and download an application and mail or fax it back to Assist Wireless.

Program benefits:  Caller ID, Call Waiting, Three-Way Calling, Call Forwarding, and Voicemail.

Assist Wireless Plan Costs

Each customer gets Unlimited Talk and Text minutes for a small charge of $1.00 per month after discounts.  Each customer will also receive 100megs of data when a phone is activated. Any minutes that are not used will be lost.  Additional data, talk and text minutes can be purchased. Taxes and fees will apply   This plan is only available to Oklahoma residents.  Assist Wireless Phone Plans

Replacement Phones

If you lose your, damage or have your phone stolen, please contact Assist Wireless immediately, so that they can disconnect your phone.  You may apply for a new phone online and payments of credit or debit cards are accepted online.  The replacement fee of  $25 is required to get a new phone.  You also have the option of mailing in a check or money order to:
